Adobe Illustrator 2026
The vector drawing application that most print and identity work still runs through.
The full graphics suite, covering vector illustration in CorelDRAW, raster editing in Photo-Paint, font management, and the tracing engine, in a perpetual configuration with no subscription layer.
Overview
CorelDRAW is the application that runs the sign, apparel, and print shop world, and the reason is practical rather than sentimental. Its output handling for cutting plotters, large format printers, and embroidery machines is better than the alternatives, and the file format is what those industries exchange work in.
The suite is more than the drawing program. Photo-Paint is a capable raster editor with layers, masks, and adjustment stacks; PowerTRACE converts scanned artwork to clean vectors with genuinely usable results; Font Manager handles the sprawling font collections these shops accumulate; and Capture handles screen work.
The 2026 release focuses on production. Multi-page documents behave like a real layout tool, the colour separation preview is accurate against a chosen output profile, and the object model handles very large documents without the slowdowns older versions were known for.
This is a perpetual configuration. Nothing expires, no account is created, and the suite installs entirely from the local package.
