Overview
Magic Bullet is the shortcut between raw camera footage and something that reads as finished. Looks, the main tool in the suite, presents a grading chain as a series of physical stages, lens, camera, and post, and lets you drag corrections into the order that light would actually encounter them. It is a different mental model from a node graph and a much faster one for people who are not full time colourists.
The rest of the suite covers the tasks that surround grading. Colorista handles primary and secondary correction with proper keyers and masks, Denoiser cleans high ISO footage without smearing detail into plastic, Mojo produces the warm and cool separation that most trailers lean on, and Cosmo smooths faces without erasing skin texture.
Film Grain and Renoiser put texture back afterwards, which is the step most people skip and then wonder why their footage looks flat and digital. The grain profiles are sampled from actual film stocks and respond to the underlying luminance rather than sitting on top as a flat overlay.
Everything installs across After Effects, Premiere Pro, Resolve, Vegas, and the OFX hosts in a single pass, and a look built in one host reads correctly when the project is opened in another.
