Autodesk AutoCAD 2027
The drafting application that the DWG format was built around.
The animation and modelling application that most film and game pipelines are built around, in its 2027 release, with the full Bifrost, Arnold render, and character toolset installed and no licence server to configure.
Overview
Maya is the backbone of a large share of the film, television, and game production world, and its position comes from being deep rather than easy. Modelling, rigging, animation, simulation, and rendering all live in one application, and the studios that adopted it did so because a character can be built, boned, animated, and lit without leaving the program or exchanging files between departments.
Character work is where the program earns its reputation. The rigging tools handle skeletons, skinning, and deformers at a level of control that keeps it standard for hero characters, and the animation editors give an experienced animator the fine control over timing and interpolation that the work demands. Nothing else in the field has quite the same depth of animation tooling.
The simulation and effects side is covered by Bifrost, which builds fluids, particles, and procedural effects on a node graph, and by the cloth and hair systems that ship with the application. For destruction, smoke, water, and crowd work, these tools remove the round trip to a separate package for a large share of shots.
This is the complete installation with the Arnold renderer, Bifrost, and the full modelling and character toolset. The content and the renderer install from the package rather than streaming later, and the licensing step is applied before the first launch so no licence manager needs configuring.
Feature set
Skeletons, skinning, and deformers at the depth that keeps the program standard for hero character work.
Graph and dope sheet editors that give fine control over timing and interpolation across long shots.
Node based fluids, particles, and procedural effects for simulation work inside the application.
The bundled production renderer with materials, lights, and the render view included.
Polygon, NURBS, and subdivision modelling with retopology and sculpting tools in one environment.
Scripting, scene assembly, and reference workflows built for a studio where many people touch one shot.

Questions
Yes, along with its materials and the render view. It installs with the application from the same package.
Yes, and they upgrade on open. Saving makes them unreadable to older versions, so keep copies.
No. This configuration is standalone and does not look for a licence manager.
Deformer evaluation is the cost. Use the cached playback option, which precomputes the animation for smooth review.
