Adobe Illustrator 2026
The vector drawing application that most print and identity work still runs through.
A trimmed installation of the 2022 design suite that keeps the vector editor and the photo editor intact while dropping the bundled content that pushes the full package past three gigabytes.
Overview
This is the 2022 suite with the application code untouched and the optional content removed. The vector editor and the raster editor are complete, every tool works, and every file format is supported. What has gone is the clip art collection, the several thousand bundled templates, most of the font library, and the language packs beyond the ones listed here.
The result is a package that installs in a quarter of the space and starts noticeably faster, which matters if you are putting it on an older machine, a laptop with a small system drive, or a workstation that only needs the suite occasionally. For production work where the assets come from the studio rather than from a bundled library, none of what was removed is missed.
The 2022 release itself is a solid one and is still in wide use. The vector editor handles multi page documents, live perspective drawing, variable fonts, and the full colour management path for commercial print. The raster editor covers layer based photo work, camera raw handling, and the healing and cloning tools that most retouching actually consists of.
File compatibility is a strong point for this generation. It reads the current native format from newer releases as well as the older ones going back many versions, and it imports and exports the exchange formats that print shops ask for, including the PDF variants used for prepress submission.
Anyone who needs the removed content can install the full suite instead. This package exists for the very common case where you want the tools and not the four gigabytes of clip art nobody has opened since the day it was installed.
Feature set
The vector editor and the raster editor are unmodified. Only the optional bundled content was removed.

Page based layout inside the vector editor with master pages and per page colour settings.
Layer based photo work with camera raw support, healing, cloning, and adjustment layers.
Reads native files from many suite generations and handles the exchange formats print shops request.

Questions
Clip art, the large template collection, most of the bundled font library, and the additional language packs. No application code was touched.
The fonts and templates can be installed by hand from the full package if you need them. Nothing in the applications blocks it.
Yes, though features that did not exist in this generation will not survive the round trip.
It is. Only its bundled content was trimmed, not its capability.
The vector drawing application that most print and identity work still runs through.
The full graphics suite, covering vector illustration in CorelDRAW, raster editing in Photo-Paint, font management, and the tracing engine, in a perpetual configuration with no subscription layer.
The page layout application behind most books, magazines, and catalogues in print, with the full typography engine, long document tools, and print-ready export.
The whole 2025 application set in one package, with a front end that installs only the programs you tick, so a single download covers an entire workstation setup.
