Overview
Architectural rendering used to mean setting a camera, starting a render, and finding out an hour later that the light was wrong. Real time engines changed that, and this one changed it most for people who are not technical artists. The viewport shows the ray traced result while you fly the camera, so lighting decisions are made by looking rather than by waiting.
Lighting is where it earns its place. The sky system is physically based, the sun follows a real position model, and interior bounce behaves the way an architect expects rather than needing a dozen fill lights to fake it. Change the time of day and the whole scene resolves in a second, which turns an afternoon of test renders into a conversation with a client.
The asset library is the other half of the product. Trees, furniture, vehicles, people, and materials arrive already optimised for the engine, and many of them are animated, so grass moves, water flows, and figures walk without any rigging work. Dropping a scene from a sketch model to a presentation image is mostly a matter of population.
Live sync links keep it connected to the modelling application, so geometry changes appear in the render scene without a manual export cycle. Output covers stills, animation paths, panoramas, and a walkthrough mode, and the video pipeline includes the denoise and upscale passes needed to keep animation render times sane.
