What this release is

This is one of the oldest tools of its kind still being maintained, and its appeal has always been that it does not try to be anything else. A single window, a paste field, a quality dropdown, and a start button. People who install it are not looking for a media manager, they want a file on disk.

The premium tier removes the two things that made the free version tiresome. Batch downloads are unlimited rather than capped at a handful of items per session, and the optional software offers that appeared during setup are gone entirely, which is the more welcome change of the two.

Output handling covers the common cases. Original quality video, a converted format for a specific device, or audio only extracted straight from the source stream. The conversion presets are old fashioned but they work, and the original quality option passes the file through without touching it.

Playlist and channel handling is present and straightforward. Paste the list address, let the program enumerate it, deselect anything unwanted, and start. Progress is reported per item with a total across the batch.

Installation

How to install it
