Autodesk AutoCAD 2027
The drafting application that the DWG format was built around.
Real time architectural visualisation that turns a raw building model into a presentable image or animation in an afternoon, with the complete Pro content library of models, materials, and effects.
Overview
Lumion is built around one idea: a designer should be able to render their own work without becoming a visualisation specialist. Import the model, drop it into a landscape, paint materials onto the surfaces, place a camera, and the result appears in real time rather than after a render queue. What takes a week in a traditional renderer takes an afternoon here.
The content library is the product as much as the engine is. Thousands of trees, people, vehicles, furniture pieces, and material definitions ship with the Pro tier, all built to work with the lighting model, so a scene can be populated convincingly without sourcing assets from anywhere else.
Animation is handled the same way. Camera paths, moving vehicles and people, weather, and time of day are all set on a timeline and previewed live. Output covers still images, video, and 360 degree panoramas for walkthrough presentations.
Live sync connects to the modelling application so changes to the model appear in the scene as they are made, which removes the export cycle entirely. Sketchup, Revit, ArchiCAD, Rhino, and Vectorworks are all supported.
Feature set
The scene renders live as it is built, so lighting and material decisions are made by looking rather than waiting.
Thousands of models and material definitions built for the lighting engine, included at this tier.
Model changes in the source application appear in the scene immediately with no export step.
Camera paths, moving objects, weather, and time of day set on a timeline with live preview.
Still images, video, and 360 degree panoramas for walkthrough presentations.
Terrain sculpting, water, grass, and seasonal vegetation covering the whole site around the building.
