Perfectly Clear WorkBench

Automatic image correction built for volume, applying exposure, colour, and skin corrections across thousands of photographs with consistent results and no per image adjustment.

Version 5.1.1.3255 486 MB Windows 10 / 11 (64-bit) Updated 6 days ago

Overview

What this release is

Perfectly Clear exists for the photographer who comes back from a job with two thousand frames and needs every one of them to look right. It analyses each image individually and applies exposure, contrast, colour balance, and detail corrections tuned to that specific frame, rather than pushing a fixed set of adjustments across the whole batch.

The correction model is built around how human vision actually works rather than around histogram mathematics, which is why the output tends to look natural rather than processed. Shadows open without going grey, highlights recover without the halo edges that give away tone mapping, and colour comes back to something that matches what you remember seeing rather than what the sensor recorded.

The portrait tools are the reason the volume market uses it. Skin smoothing that keeps texture, blemish removal, eye enhancement, teeth whitening, and catchlight work applied automatically after face and feature detection. On a school or event job covering hundreds of subjects, retouching that would take a week is finished during a lunch break.

WorkBench is the standalone application rather than the plugin, which means the batch engine is fully exposed. Presets combine any set of corrections, watched folders process automatically as images arrive, output can be written in several formats and sizes simultaneously, and every correction remains adjustable per image if a particular frame needs attention.

This build includes the full correction engine, every preset group, the portrait and detail modules, and the plugin bridges for the main host applications so the same corrections can be applied from inside an existing workflow.

Feature set

What you get

Per image analysis

Every frame is analysed individually, so corrections suit that photograph rather than the batch average.

Portrait automation

Face and feature detection driving skin, eye, and blemish work that keeps texture rather than plastering over it.

Volume batch engine

Watched folders, simultaneous multi format output, and unattended processing of very large jobs.

Natural results

A correction model built around human vision, which avoids the processed look of histogram driven tools.

Preset groups

Combine any set of corrections into a named preset and apply it across a job with per image override.

Host plugin bridges

The same engine available inside the main editing applications for workflows already built around them.

Changes in this build

What changed

  • Improved face detection accuracy on group photographs and profile angles
  • Faster batch throughput on machines with many cores
  • Added output profiles for high dynamic range display delivery
  • Rebuilt noise reduction with better retention of fine texture at high sensitivity
  • Fixed the colour shift that appeared on images carrying uncommon embedded profiles

Installation

How to install it

  1. Turn off real time protection before extracting and keep it off through the configuration step.
  2. Extract to a short path on a drive with at least 3 GB free.
  3. Run the installer as administrator and include the plugin bridges if you use a host application.
  4. Apply the included configuration step before the first launch.
  5. Open the application, confirm no activation prompt appears, and block outbound access for the executable.

Questions

Before you start

Does it handle camera raw files?

Yes, from the current bodies of the major manufacturers, with the raw conversion happening before the corrections are applied.

Can corrections be adjusted per image?

Yes. Automatic corrections are a starting point and every parameter remains editable on any individual frame.

Are the host plugins included?

Yes, the bridges for the main editing applications install alongside the standalone application.

How fast is a large batch?

On a modern multi core machine, a few thousand frames typically finish in well under an hour depending on output size.
