What this release is

Live is unusual among production environments because it was designed to be played, not just arranged. The session view lays clips out as a grid that can be launched, looped, and layered in real time, which made it the tool of choice for electronic performers, and the arrangement view provides the traditional linear timeline for finishing a track. Most people move between the two constantly.

The Suite tier is the reason to install this particular edition. It carries the complete set of built-in instruments, including the sampler, the analogue and wavetable synthesisers, the physical modelling instruments, and the operator, along with the full effect rack. Nothing in the instrument list is a locked upsell, which is what separates Suite from the smaller editions.

Warping stretches any recording to the project tempo without a fuss, so loops from different sources lock together automatically, and audio can be sliced to a drum rack or converted to MIDI for reharmonising.
