What this release is

Acrobat Reader is the program most people mean when they say they need to open a PDF. It renders complex documents faithfully, prints them the way they were laid out, and handles the interactive forms and digital signatures that a plain viewer stumbles over. For anything past casual reading, it remains the safe choice because it is the application PDFs are authored against.

The commenting tools are more capable than most people use. Highlights, notes, text callouts, stamps, and freehand markup can be added to any document and saved back into the file, so a marked up PDF can be passed back to whoever produced it without any of the annotations being lost or flattened.

Fill and sign covers the everyday paperwork case. A form can be completed whether or not it was built with real form fields, a signature can be placed once and reused, and the finished document saves as a flat PDF that opens correctly anywhere. None of this requires the paid Acrobat application.

Installation

How to install it
