WinRAR Professional
The archiver that half the internet is packed with, with recovery records, solid compression, and multi-part splitting, licensed so the reminder window never appears again.
A lightweight tunnelling client with a server list across several regions, a kill switch, split tunnelling, and a premium configuration that lifts the speed and connection limits of the free tier.
Overview
AMAN VPN is a small client that does the obvious job without demanding much attention. Open it, pick a region or let it choose the fastest, and the connection is up in a few seconds. There is no dashboard full of statistics and no attempt to sell you anything from inside the window, which is more than can be said for most of the category.
The protocol on offer is the modern lightweight one that most clients have moved to, which connects faster, reconnects better after a network change, and costs less battery on a laptop than the older approaches. A more compatible fallback protocol is available for networks that block the newer one outright.
The kill switch is the feature that matters most and it is implemented at the network level rather than by watching the connection and reacting late. If the tunnel drops, traffic stops rather than falling back to the ordinary connection, which is the entire point of having one at all.
Split tunnelling lets specific applications bypass the tunnel entirely, which is what you want for anything latency sensitive or for a service that refuses to work from a different region. The rule list is per application rather than per destination, which is simpler to reason about and covers most real cases.
The premium configuration in this build removes the free tier restrictions. The full server list across every region is available rather than a handful, there is no bandwidth ceiling and no speed cap, several devices can connect on the same configuration, and the advertisement panel in the client window is gone.
Feature set
The current lightweight tunnelling protocol, with a compatible fallback for networks that block it.
Traffic stops when the tunnel drops rather than falling back to the ordinary connection.
Per application rules for anything that should bypass the tunnel, such as latency sensitive or region locked services.
Every region available rather than the handful the free tier offers, with automatic selection of the fastest.
Bandwidth ceiling and speed cap both removed, with several devices allowed on the same configuration.
Small, fast to connect, and free of the advertisement panel that the free tier displays.

Questions
Yes. The premium configuration unlocks every region rather than the small subset the free tier offers.
It operates at the network level, so traffic stops rather than leaking. Test it once by dropping the connection deliberately.
Yes, through split tunnelling, which is set per application in the settings panel.
Load and distance. Use the automatic selection, which measures latency across the list rather than guessing from the region name.
