Microsoft Office 2019 Professional Plus
The perpetual licence office suite that never expires and never nags.
A full PDF editing suite that does most of what the expensive competitor does at a fraction of its footprint, covering real text editing, conversion, OCR, form building, and signing in one fast application.
Overview
Foxit built its reputation on being the fast alternative to the heavyweight PDF application, and the Editor Pro is where that reputation is earned. It opens quickly, runs light, and still handles the full range of professional PDF work: editing text and images in place, rearranging pages, converting to and from Office formats, and building forms. For most offices it covers everything the pricier suite is bought for.
Editing is genuine rather than cosmetic. Paragraphs reflow when text is changed, images can be replaced or moved, and the layout holds together the way it would in a word processor. Pages can be inserted, deleted, rotated, and reordered, and content can be redacted so the underlying data is removed rather than covered over.
The conversion and OCR engine is the daily workhorse. Documents export to Word, Excel, and PowerPoint with structure preserved, and scanned pages are run through OCR to produce selectable, searchable text layered over the original image in a broad set of languages.
Form building and signing round it out. Existing documents are scanned for form fields automatically, fields can be added and validated, and documents can be signed and certified. This build enables the full Pro feature set from first launch without a trial banner.

For most editing, conversion, and form work, yes, at a much smaller footprint.
