WinRAR Professional
The archiver that half the internet is packed with, with recovery records, solid compression, and multi-part splitting, licensed so the reminder window never appears again.
A deployment and activation front end that downloads any modern Click-to-Run Office release straight from Microsoft, installs exactly the applications you choose, and sorts the licence state in the same pass.
Overview
This is the tool people use when they want a clean Office installation without wrestling the official deployment tooling. It presents the whole Click-to-Run catalogue as a list, lets the exact release and the exact applications be chosen, and then pulls the payload directly from Microsoft servers rather than bundling it, so the installed files are the genuine current build.
The Install Lite mode is the part that gets used most. It trims the download to only the applications selected, so a machine that needs Word and Excel and nothing else does not pull the entire suite. Channel, architecture, and language are all selectable before the download starts.
Activation is folded into the same front end. Once the installation finishes, the licensing step can be run without opening a second program, which is why this appears on technician sticks as a one stop Office tool rather than as a plain installer.
The utility is portable and leaves nothing behind apart from the Office installation it produces. Because the licensing step schedules a renewal task, antivirus software flags the package, which is normal for anything in this category and the reason the instructions start with an exclusion.
Feature set
Downloads the real Click-to-Run build directly from Microsoft rather than bundling an old copy.
Installs only the applications you tick, keeping the download and the footprint small.
Every modern perpetual and channel release from 2013 through 2024 in one list.
The licensing step runs from the same front end once installation completes.
Architecture, update channel, and interface language are all chosen before the download begins.
Nothing installs beyond Office itself, and the tool can be deleted afterwards.

Questions
Yes. The Office payload downloads from Microsoft at install time, so a connection is required even though the tool is portable.
The files come straight from Microsoft. The tool handles selection and the licence state, not the payload itself.
Yes. Install Lite lets individual applications be selected so the rest are never downloaded.
The activation step schedules a renewal task, which those products treat as hostile. An exclusion is required first.
