WinRAR Professional
The archiver that half the internet is packed with, with recovery records, solid compression, and multi-part splitting, licensed so the reminder window never appears again.
The full desktop client rather than a browser shortcut, with the companion window, screenshot capture, file reading, and voice mode all present in the package and every paid tier feature left switched on from the first launch.
Overview
The desktop build is a very different tool from the web page most people know. It sits on a global hotkey, opens a small companion window over whatever you are already doing, and reads the active window so you can ask about a spreadsheet, a stack trace, or a page of documentation without copying anything into a browser tab. Once that habit forms it is difficult to go back to alt tabbing.
File handling is the part that gets used hardest in practice. Drop in a folder of documents and the client indexes them locally, then answers with references back to the specific file and section it drew from. Spreadsheets are parsed as data rather than as text, so column questions get arithmetic answers instead of confident guesswork, and long PDFs keep their structure well enough that page references stay accurate.
Voice mode runs in a separate lightweight window that stays responsive while the main application is busy. Interruptions are handled properly, so talking over a reply cuts it off the way a phone call would rather than queueing a second answer behind the first. The transcript is written into the same conversation history as typed messages.
This release is the complete signed application with the companion overlay, the screenshot pipeline, the local file index, and the voice stack included. The tier gate has been removed, so the model picker, longer context handling, and the advanced reasoning options are all selectable rather than greyed out behind an upgrade prompt.
Feature set
A global hotkey brings up a compact prompt over any application, with the active window available as context without a manual copy and paste step.
Capture a region of the screen and ask about it directly. Charts, error dialogs, and design mockups are read in place.
Point the client at folders and it builds a searchable index on the machine, answering with citations back to the source file and section.
Low latency spoken conversation in its own window, with proper interruption handling and transcripts written into the normal history.
Every model tier is selectable from the composer, including the longer context and deeper reasoning options normally reserved for paid plans.
Group conversations, files, and standing instructions into a project so context carries between sessions instead of being pasted in each time.

Questions
The interface, history, and local file index open offline, but replies come from the service so a connection is needed to actually ask anything.
The index itself is built and stored on the machine. Only the excerpts relevant to a question travel with the request.
The bundled updater checks on a schedule. Blocking that helper keeps the build exactly where it is.
For most day to day use yes. A few account management screens still open a browser window when clicked.
