Microsoft Office 2019 Professional Plus
The perpetual licence office suite that never expires and never nags.
A document suite covering editing, conversion, and virtual printing in one package, with the editor, the tools collection, and the standard virtual printer all in their unlocked configuration.
Overview
The dominant document application is enormous, slow to start, and increasingly built around a subscription. This suite does the same work in a fraction of the footprint, opens a large document in about a second, and puts editing, conversion, form handling, and printing into one package rather than three separate products.
The editor is the centrepiece. Text in an existing document can be edited directly rather than covered with a white box, pages can be inserted, extracted, rotated, and reordered from a thumbnail panel, and the full annotation set covers highlighting, stamps, measurement, and threaded comments for review cycles. Redaction actually removes the content rather than drawing a black rectangle over it.
Optical character recognition is included and it is unusually good. A scanned page becomes searchable and selectable text with the original layout preserved, output can be written as a searchable overlay or as fully converted text, and multi language documents are handled without a separate pass per language.
The tools collection handles the batch work, covering merging, splitting, watermarking, header and footer stamping, and format conversion across large sets of files at once. The virtual printer creates documents from any application that can print, with control over compression, embedded fonts, and security settings.
