Overview

What this release is

Windows uninstalls software badly. The built-in uninstaller runs whatever the program provided, and that routine almost always leaves folders, files, and registry keys behind. Over years those leftovers accumulate into the clutter that makes an old installation feel slow and unpredictable. Revo exists to remove a program the whole way rather than most of the way.

The process is two stages. Revo runs the program's own uninstaller first, then scans the disk and the registry for everything that routine left behind, presenting the leftovers for review before removing them. Three scan depths let the sweep be gentle or thorough depending on how confident the removal needs to be.

The Hunter mode is the tool people keep it for. When a program will not appear in the normal list, or when only its window is visible, dragging the crosshair onto that window finds the associated files and lets it be removed anyway. Stubborn tray applications and half-installed software are its natural targets.

The install monitor is the quiet long game. With it running, a new installation is logged completely, so when that program is later removed, Revo knows exactly what it added and takes all of it out. The Pro build enables the monitor, the forced uninstall, and the batch tools from first launch.

Installation

How to install it

Extract the archive with real time protection disabled.
Run the setup executable as administrator.
Do not open the program before applying the included registration step.
Start the program and confirm the Pro features are available.
Turn on the install monitor so future installations are logged for clean removal.
