WinRAR Professional
The archiver that half the internet is packed with, with recovery records, solid compression, and multi-part splitting, licensed so the reminder window never appears again.
Recovery software covering deleted files, formatted volumes, lost partitions, and physically failing drives, with the Professional, Premium, and Technician feature sets all present in one package.
Overview
Data recovery software is judged on one thing, which is how much it finds when the situation is genuinely bad. On a simple deletion almost anything works. On a formatted volume, a corrupted partition table, or a drive that is throwing read errors, the difference between tools becomes enormous, and this is where the deep scan here earns its reputation. It reconstructs file structures from signatures when the file system itself is gone, and it recognises a very long list of formats while doing so.
The workflow is deliberately simple for something this technical. Pick what you lost, pick where it was, and let it scan. Results appear in a tree that mirrors the original folder structure where that can be recovered, and a flat signature view where it cannot. Preview works before recovery, so documents, images, and video can be checked for integrity before spending time writing them out.
The Premium level features add repair rather than just recovery. Corrupted video files with damaged headers can be rebuilt using a healthy sample from the same camera as a reference, and damaged photographs including raw formats are repaired rather than simply extracted in their broken state. For anyone dealing with a failed card out of a camera this is often the difference between a usable file and nothing.
The Technician features handle the harder cases. Drive imaging clones a failing disk sector by sector with bad sector handling, so all further work happens against the image instead of stressing dying hardware. RAID reconstruction rebuilds arrays from member disks even when the controller metadata is lost, with automatic detection of stripe size and disk order.
Feature set
Signature based reconstruction that recovers files from formatted volumes and destroyed file systems, covering a very wide format list.
Check documents, images, and video for integrity in the results view before writing anything to disk.
Rebuilds corrupted media using a healthy reference file from the same device, including raw camera formats.
Sector by sector cloning with bad sector handling, so recovery runs against an image rather than a failing disk.
Rebuilds arrays from member disks with automatic detection of stripe size, order, and parity layout.
Creates recovery media so a machine that no longer starts can still have its drive scanned.

Questions
All three feature levels are present. The edition selector during setup only decides which modules appear in the interface.
Often yes, provided the drive still spins up and responds. Image it first and scan the image rather than the hardware.
Only if the volume can be unlocked first. Recovery runs on the decrypted view, not on the raw encrypted sectors.
It reads every sector on the drive and matches signatures as it goes. On a large mechanical disk that is genuinely a long job.
